Hurricane Igor rapidly intensified this afternoon from a Category 2 hurricane with 105MPH winds at the 11AM advisory, to a Category 4 hurricane with 135 MPH winds at a special 230 PM advisory. The hurricane is expected to remain at least a Category 4 hurricane through the week as it curves northwest across the Atlantic Ocean. Here are some graphics from the NHC as of the 230PM advisory.
